It is installed inside the front fork to make movement smoother and allows settings to match the driving conditions.
A "steering damper" component that affects the movement of the front stem shaft (MC7: 3 x 32mm screw pin) is also included to suppress steering flapping and enable adjustment of turning force.
The set includes 4 x 1mm thick front fork spacers, 4 x 0.5mm thick spacers, and sponge tape and grease for the steering damper.
